Girls Farm Volleyball (ages 6-9)

Thalia Malibu Rec offers Girls Farm (ages 6-9) for children that are 6-9 years old.

Our program is designed to teach the basicsof volleyball to our kids.

Requirements:

Players must be at least 6 years old.

Players must provide their own Knee pads and Shorts.

Thalia/Malibu will provide Jerseys and Volleyballs.

Recommendation:

We recommended that the children have expressed the desire to play Volleyball.

Game Skills:

Our program is designed to teach the basic skills of serving, passing, and player safety.

*Coaches will contact their players with the practice schedule after the coaches meeting.

* Games end by the end of the school year.

DIVISION BREAKDOWN AND DETAILS

Teams are allowed a maximum of 12 players per team on a first come, first serve basis. Once a team fills up, we will make another if needed.

We are always looking for volunteers to coach or assist with Practice and Game monitoring. No experience is needed. The main goal is for the kids to have fun playing volleyball. If you are interested please click the link in the signup form.

Practices will be held twice a week (Monday-Friday) at one of the elementary schools in the area. Games will be on a weeknight to be determined by the City depending on school availability.

Coaches will be in contact within two weeks of signups ending with practice schedules and league start date.

Please note that if you would like your child to move up an age division, it is based on the skill level of the child as well as approval from the city and volleyball director.

*Players turning the age of a division on or before Sept 30th of the current school year to qualify to play in that division. Players can decide to "play up" if they turn the age of eligibility within the season of play. If you would like your child to "play up", Please register for the division in which your child should play, then send an email to [email protected] and [email protected] to request to "play up".
